Everyone is familiar with the idea of a cornerstone that sets the foundation for a building. Similarly a home or even an individual needs a firm foundation to stand strong in times of difficulty. The cornerstone is important because it’s the immovable point of the building and reference point. When God is that reference point in our lives we stand stronger. If we build our foundation upon him we, too, can be immovable.
Make God the foundation for your life
We would do well to observe God’s hand in history. A lot of the Bible stories and various histories may seem random at first glance but a closer look reveals a pattern, an unfolding story. With this understanding you will be strengthened and have a greater wisdom about where your life is going. God has a very personal interest in your life and human affairs and to think otherwise is to completely misunderstand God’s heart and motivation.
In a beautiful message entitled, “God’s Hope for America” Rev. Moon gives profound insights into God’s hand in history. Now, you may wonder, “What does Biblical history have to do with us today?” Rev Moon has uncovered some foundational principles that reveal hidden truths about how humankind advances toward the recovery or our original nature. We all are in touch on some level with a collective unconscious that knows life is meant to be better and people have a much greater capacity to love than is currently experienced. The world could be a better place if we could live with a real connection to God and each other.
